1. About Thymos

Thymos is an educational and reflective support platform designed for adults including parents, caregivers, teachers, and professionals.

Thymos provides CBT-informed educational tools, journaling features, learning content, and AI-assisted reflective support. Thymos is not a medical service and does not provide therapy, diagnosis, crisis intervention, or medical treatment.

The app is intended for users aged 18 and over.


2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Login credentials and authentication information

User Content

  • Journal entries
  • Chat conversations
  • Reflection notes
  • Optional child-related information such as first name and age
  • Behavioural observations and selected emotional triggers

Subscription Information

Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not directly store full payment card information.

Users should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information unless they are comfortable doing so.

Behavioural insights provided by Thymos are informational and educational only and should not be considered psychological assessments, diagnoses, or professional advice.


5. AI Processing

Thymos uses artificial intelligence services provided by OpenAI to generate certain responses and reflective support content.

Information entered into chats may be processed by OpenAI in order to provide AI-generated responses.

We do not use user conversations or journal content to train our own AI models.

AI-generated responses may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for every situation. Users should exercise their own judgement and seek qualified professional support where necessary.


6. Third-Party Services

We may use trusted third-party service providers to operate and improve Thymos, including:

  • Supabase (database, authentication, and storage)
  • OpenAI (AI processing)
  • RevenueCat (subscription management)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
  • Amplitude (analytics and product improvement)

These providers may process certain information on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.


7. Analytics

We use analytics tools to better understand how users interact with Thymos and to improve app functionality, performance, and user experience.

Analytics information may include:

We do not use analytics data for advertising or sell user data to third parties.

Users may delete their account and associated information directly within the app.
